Single Stage UrethaneThis paint is a high quality urethane auto paint. You can save cost over base/clear jobs with this system since clearcoat is not required. You can use a clearcoat if you like though. This is the same paint used everyday in thousands of body shops across the country. You will not be disappointed by the performance of any of out paints.Urethane paints must be activated 3:1. Activator costs $11.17 per half pint, $24.11 per pint, and $40.22 per quart. You may also reduce the paint with urethane reducer for better sprayability. Our urethanes (and most others) are 3/4 fill. This means if you order a gallon you actually recieve three quarts. The activator finishes off the gallon. I don't know where this convention came from but it's the way it works. So keep this in mind when ordering or comparing prices. Because of the hazardous materials regulations, all paint products must be shipped in quart size containers. Further, they also must be limited to six quarts per package. This is to avoid very large hazmat shipping charges. So, if you order a gallon, it will arrive in quart cans.
