BasecoatWe offer high quality basecoats. These are the same paints used everyday in thousands of body shops across the country. You will not be disappointed by the performance of any of our paints. Our basecoats must be reduced with stabilizer at a ratio of 1:1. Gallons of stabilizer are $34.08 and quarts are $10.73. Stabilizer is used not only to reduce but also to help metallics and pearls lay correctly. It is not recommended to use any other reducer with our basecoats. Basecoats MUST be clearcoated. Because of the hazardous materials regulations, all paint products must be shipped in quart size containers. Further, they also must be limited to six quarts per package. This is to avoid very large hazmat shipping charges. So, if you order a gallon, you will recieve 4 quarts.
